Elopement wedding at Pienza, Siena, Tuscany, Italy

An intimate Elopement in Tuscany for Maria and Erik from Germany.

The location chosen by this sweet couple is the beautiful Pienza, a town and comune in the province of Siena, in the Val d'Orcia in Tuscany (central Italy), between the towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino, is the "touchstone of Renaissance urbanism". In 1996, UNESCO declared the town a World Heritage Site, and in 2004 the entire valley, the Val d'Orcia, was included on the list of UNESCO's World Cultural Landscapes.

The photo shoot started directly at the Town Hall for the civil ceremony celebrated directly by the mayor of Pienza, a real honor for the couple to have the first citizen of the country for such an important day.

Pienza is always full of visitors photographers who are looking for beautiful photos around the town and we too have used this magnificent location for our photo shoot.

The second part of the photo session continued in the picturesque countryside of the town just a few minutes away by car where we found a small country lane that took us to a fantastic location for our country-style photos.
